Designer/developer since more than 30 years: in asm, C and BASIC under DOS and Windows, and HTML/CSS, javascript and Perl about the Web, then Python and always C/C++ for cross-platform developments in Windows and OS X. I also managed Linux on server side; my own home server with a tenth of websites (including this one) and experimentations of all kinds (support tickets system, bug tracker, forum, blog and CMS, marketing automation system, CGI, etc) has been under CentOS (command line only, without graphic interface), Apache, MySQL and PHP (the usual LAMP) for some years. This site has been very active in the years 95-2005 (with a top on a tool called IPalt 1.x to 2.x, downloaded more than 500 000 times in its Freeware and commercial editions mixed, during one year and half from close to 200 software centers distributed in the world), then it has sunk while I was occuped in others topics. This 14th of May 2012, I've decided to put it back on the road with this 3rd version, for a new adventure... May the winds be favorable...

Update 2014: Since this relaunch as software author, my biggest accomplishment has been Dedee, 1st PC/Mac software for ebooks signing, released in December 2014 in its version 1.0; currently at level 1.3. Dedee and its surrounding R&D represent about 80,000 lines of C/C++ code and some tiny parts of assembler for the sport. More details on its site.

Update 2017: Started in April 2016, my current Big Thing is Shopifight. An exciting e-commerce oriented project for an enthusiastic and proactive audience!

Update June 2019: New major project started for three months ... Sensitive subject, so secret for now!

Concepteur-développeur depuis plus de 30 ans. Initialement en asm, C et BASIC sous DOS et Windows, et HTML/CSS, javascript et Perl concernant le Web, puis Python et toujours C/C++ pour du développement cross-platform Windows et OS X. J'ai aussi géré Linux côté serveur ; mon propre serveur maison avec une dizaine de sites (dont celui-ci) et des expérimentations en tout genre (support tickets system, bug tracker, forum, blog and CMS, marketing automation system, CGI, etc) a d'ailleurs été sous CentOS (tout en ligne de commande, sans interface graphique), Apache, MySQL et PHP (le traditionnel LAMP) durant quelques années. Ce site a été très actif dans les années 95-2005 (avec un sommet sur un outil nommé IPalt 1.x à 2.x, téléchargé à plus de 500 000 exemplaires dans ses éditions Freeware et commerciale confondues, sur un an 1/2 et à partir de près de 200 centres logiciels répartis dans le monde), puis a sombré, occupé à d'autres 'sujets' que j'étais. Ce 14 mai 2012, j'ai décidé de le remettre en route sous une 3e version, pour une nouvelle aventure... Puissent les vents être favorables...

Update 2014 : Depuis cette reprise en tant qu'auteur logiciel, ma plus grosse réalisation a été Dedee, 1er logiciel PC/Mac de dédicace d'ebooks, sorti en décembre 2014 dans sa version 1.0 ; actuellement au niveau 1.3. Dedee et son R&D alentour représentent environ 80 000 lignes de code C/C++ et quelques touches d'assembleur pour le sport. Plus de détails sur son site.

Update 2017: Démarré en Avril 2016, ma "Big Thing" en cours est Shopifight. Un passionnant project orienté e-commerce pour un public enthousiaste et proactif !

Update juin 2019: Nouveau projet majeur engagé depuis trois mois... Sujet sensible, donc secret pour l'instant !
